Do you offer any discounts for students, military, seniors, etc?
My prices are already half of what you would pay in a salon, so I don't offer any "built-in" discounts.
However, I *do* run discounts and specials quite frequently which can be found on my Facebook page or on Craigslist. -
How long does it take to have hair extensions done?
A full head of extensions takes 4-6 hours typically.
Color highlites might take 30 minutes. -
How long does my hair have to be?
Your hair should be at least 3" long. Shorter hair doesn't lay as flat and will not cover the extensions or blend properly.
-
How long will the extensions last?
With proper care, you shouldn't lose too many of the extensions. Losing 20 or less within the lifetime of the extensions is common. I replace any extensions for free within the first month, but this rarely happens. Just be careful to not overuse conditioner on the scalp, and DO NOT pick at the bonds.
ALL extensions should be removed after wearing them for 3 months. The hair will grow 1 1/2-2" in that time and the roots will start matting and dreading. This is due to trapped and dead hair being unable to be combed out.
There are NO extension methods that should be worn longer than 3 months no matter what you have heard or been told. -
How are the extensions removed?
Your extensions should be removed after three months.
With synthetic hair, I crack the heat seal by twisting it, then the extension slides off.
Then the hair is combed free of trapped hair.
Fusion extensions are removed with an alcohol solution, and combed out. -
Will anyone know my hair isn't real?
No one should know. I try to make my work as undetectable to the eye as possible. Of course if someone looks through your hair or touches your scalp they will know. No hair extensions are completely undetectable.
-
Will my hair come out when the extensions are removed?
Normal daily hair loss is 50-100 hairs per day. When you wear extensions, the hair you normally lose is trapped in the extension and does not fall out naturally.
When you see some of your own hair coming out with the extension, don't worry! -
Can I color my hair while wearing hair extensions?
You are able to do retouches to your own hair without a problem.
Extra careful rinsing (3 times longer than usual) is imperative if you are doing the retouch yourself.
Foil retouches are not possible in the areas where the extensions are applied. -
Can I buy hair from you?
No, you cannot. I don't sell any hair or hair products. If you need to know where to buy hair feel free to email me.
