The consultation is booked for 30 minutes but it may take less time.
I will assess the condition of your hair, match your color and estimate how many extensions will be needed.
If you decide to have extensions done, you will be asked to leave a 50% deposit of the quote to secure your appointment and purchase hair.
Be sure your hair is freshly colored or it is the color you would like the extensions to be.
Please arrive at your consultation as well as your extension appointment with clean hair.
The amount depends on the thickness of your hair and the size of your head. If you have very fine layered hair you will not need as much as someone with thick hair that is all one length.
Please take a look at this, it will give more insight into how much hair might be needed for your hair type.

A full head of extensions takes 4-6 hours typically.
Color highlites might take 30 minutes.
Your hair should be at least 3″ long. Shorter hair doesn’t lay as flat and will not cover the extensions or blend properly.
With proper care, you shouldn’t lose too many of the extensions. Losing 20 or less within the lifetime of the extensions is common. I replace any extensions for free within the first month, but this rarely happens.
ALL extensions should be removed after wearing them for 3 months. The hair will grow 1 1/2-2″ in that time and the roots will start dreading. This is due to trapped and dead hair being unable to be combed out.
There are NO extension methods that should be worn longer than 3 months no matter what you have heard or been told.
Your extensions should be removed after three months.
With synthetic hair, I crack the heat seal by twisting it, the extension slides off and the regrowth is combed out.
Fusion extensions are dabbed with an alcohol solution and squeezed with a tool. The extension slides off and the regrowth is combed out.
You need to let me know asap!
If your hair is tangling or knotting, check the products you are using. Are you using sulfate free shampoo? Are you avoiding volumizing and thickening products? Are you washing your hair every day or sleeping with wet hair? Using a hot flat iron every day? Check how you are caring for your hair.
Anything else, you have to let me know so I can help.
Please keep in mind, there are NO refunds or free re-dos.
No one should know. I try to make my work as undetectable to the eye as possible. Of course if someone looks through your hair or touches your scalp they will know. No hair extensions are completely undetectable.
Normal daily hair loss is 50-100 hairs per day. When you wear extensions, the hair you normally lose is trapped in the extension and does not fall out naturally.
If you leave your extensions in longer than 3 months, yes you could lose hair. Don’t do that 🙂
You are able to do retouches to your own hair without a problem.
Extra careful rinsing (3 times longer than usual) is imperative if you are doing the retouch yourself.
Foil retouches are not possible in the areas where the extensions are applied.
keep in mind, I am not responsible for what might happen to your hair if it is colored.
Yes as long as it is u-tip or flat tip fusion hair. The charge for that service is $5.00 per extension.
These extensions come with keratin protein adhesive already attached to the tip of each piece of hair.
It closely matches the composition of human hair.
I place the piece of hair under a small section of your hair, heat the bond and then roll between my fingers to secure.
The bond resembles a grain of rice.
It is recommended that you do not color the extensions and I am not responsible for what might happen. The hair is already processed and results can be very unpredictable. However, I have clients who have colored their extensions with great results. If you have synthetic hair, it will not pick up any color at all.
Yes you can. I have and many of my clients have. You need to wet your hair first and coat with a leave-in conditioner that is heavy enough to create a water barrier. Braid hair neatly and securely. After you are in the water you must wash and condition the hair.
Do not let your hair dry naturally with a braid/ponytail and salt or pool water in it.
I am not responsible for anything that happens to your extensions if you go into pool or salt water with them, so I advise that you don’t participate in these activities to be safe.
